Note our picture in the upper left corner:  This is a sacred Hawaiian birthing landmark on the island of O'ahu, in Hawaii . If you look carefully you can see the profile of a resting pregnant woman.  In this scene her full abdomen rests below a layer of clouds.  "She" is called Ka Wahine Hapai (The Pregnant Woman).  This picture was taken from the treasured Wahiawa Birthing Stones site, one of the most sacred spots in all of the Islands.  This is the view pregnant, royal, ancient Hawaiian women had as they birthed kings, queens, and other royal Hawaiian offspring.

Pictured below
is a woman who is visiting the sacred birthing stones for healing. She stands beneath Ka Wahine Hapai for a ritual of healing for a life-long birth saddness and finds freedom and grace to move on.
We are a not-for-profit childbirth organization under the umbrella of Lamaze™ International as a
Birth Network.

We are certified Lamaze teachers, doulas, midwives, nurses, infant-instinct  breastfeeding and
newborn care teachers.

We have an acupuncturist and a chiropractor specializing in services to pregnant women.

We also have family/parent members and others who support normalcy and choices in childbirth.  We are interested in helping young (and young at heart) women find careers in the birthing world as childbirth educators, doulas and midwives.

"Preparation to Become a Childbirth Educator" Workshops
Dates TBA for later in 2012

We serve our state-wide birthing community as a channel of information about childbirth and related services available to expectant and
new parents.

We will help you turn your fears into courage and your partner into your
Guardian of Courage,
Guardian of your Birth Place, and Guardians of the Nest!
